| Re: [Drums] Right, Mon, Pics of Your Kit. What shells are you using?
They look similar to the Mapex stuff.
That's it, i'm gonna finally take a picture of my gear.

| Re: [Drums] Right, Mon, Pics of Your Kit. They're Sonor 3003's. Maple and Basswood.
Best sounding semi-professional kit I've ever heard.
Especially the bass drums, they're 17.5 depth rather than your standard 18. Nice and punchy. |

| Re: [Drums] Right, Mon, Pics of Your Kit. Looks nice!
I took my "other" snare out for my show yesterday, the one that came with my kit is a 14x5.5 but i've got a 13x6.5 that's just a little crisper (but less good for rimshots...)
but they're both maple and i've been thinking about a metal snare for a while now.
there have been a couple of brass piccolo snares that i've been withing an inch of buying but the steel one that came with my first kit wasn't great and it's always kinda put me off steel snares which is absurd, cos it's just that it was an entry level snare...
thank god drum central moved further from my house or i'd be bankrupt!
