| Re: Right, Mon, Pics of Your Kit. Just got a nice wee 8x8 tom yesterday, it's not been fully angled yet and the set up is a little bit edgy just now, but here we go.
I'll post more pictures of the kit in full tomorrow or something. |

| Re: Right, Mon, Pics of Your Kit. Here we go :
I tried to fit them all in, but the camera isnt big enough.
10" Zildjian A Custom Splash with a 4" Pearl Bell Chime mounted on top.
14" Zildjian ZBT Hi-Hats, 15" Zildjian A Custom Crash (With Chunk Missing), 8" Sabian Pro Splash and 17" Meinl Classics Medium Crash.
17" Zildjian K Medium Crash, 20" Zildjian Avedis Ping Ride, 13" Stagg China, 18" Zildjian ZXT China, 10" Stagg Hihat's (Made up of 2 splashes) and an LP JamBlock.
14x5" Premier 2000 Snare Drum, 8x8", 10x9", 12x10", 14x12?" toms and a 22x18" Bass Drum all Mapex M Series in Transparent Honey Amber Finish.
I might do what Finch_2 done and take them into the garden for better photo opportunities.
Kyle. |

| Re: Right, Mon, Pics of Your Kit. Been working my ass off to afford some more stuff, so although I technically can't afford it just yet, i've ordered pretty much the full range of titanium cymbals from Zildjian, and a pretty new 22" SRX custom bass drum (thats 2 of the now ), with 2 Iron Cobra single pedals.
I promise to get pictures of it when its fully set up. |

| Re: Right, Mon, Pics of Your Kit. what do the titanium jobbies sound like? haven't even seen any yet much less heard them
i love the way they look in photos, but i get the impression they're a bit too heavyweight for my tastes - i'm a kinda A custom / paper thin boy
splash and be gone sorta noises...

| Re: Right, Mon, Pics of Your Kit. I've not recieved them yet!
But, I have played the 18" china and 16" crash and they sound not disimilar to a Z custom, very weighty but still a decent attack.
I'm EXTREMELY heavy hitting so A Customs and even K's crumble after a while.
I know the glancing technique well, but when I get in the mood in a gig/rehearsal/recording it tends to go out the window.
I'll let you know how they are individually and relatively once i've set them up and had a bash. |
