| Re: Lets hear ya First of all I'd just like to say that Thin Lizzy cover is fucking awesome.
These are some poor recordings done on my phone, the first 2 I'm sat in my bedroom and had to sit on the phone (puns ahoy) to muffle the sound because the mic is so sensitive. The playing is a bit shoddy but so is the recording so don't expect nothing flash. http://homepage.ntlworld.com/a.guthr..._Van_Halen.wav http://homepage.ntlworld.com/a.guthr...urne/Neo_1.wav
The At The Gates - Slaughter Of The Soul recording is done from a PC Microphone with my electric guitar unplugged, it's in E Minor instead of B because I don't have a 7 String. You also have the added bonus of being able to hear me breath quite heavily. http://homepage.ntlworld.com/a.guthr...edElectric.mp3
I'll upload some decent stuff if anybody wants to hear, I'm keen to have a go with that backing track like. |

nice one man! like the second one, what is it? sounds very malmsteemesque! have a bash at the backin track! will be interesting to see the different takes on it! I might even have another bash, go for something completely different! We need to get more people to put up tracks of themselves playin, after all it IS a guitar forum eh? |

| Re: Lets hear ya I'm a big fan of Malmsteen being that my playing is based around my years of classical piano, I tend to play a lot like his style. It was improvised on the spot. I'll name it "The J.M Jam" after you haha.
I have a recording of me playing a mish mash of the first so long of the video version of Arpeggio's From Hell if I can find the CD.
When I get this backing track recording done expect more malmsteenesque fret bashing \m/
