| voting... yeah so i voted today. felt shit cos all of teh parties and candidates are shit. theres noone there who i totally agree with. as soon as i crossed one i thought "yeah but they say this and that sux!" in the end i went lib dem cos i felt they were a lesser evil than the rest o the cunts plus they seem to be behind the meadows skatepark project which is better than nothing i spose. however they look to be against the cinema across the road frae me and say they will make sure the building goes to good use...meanwhile im like " it is a fucking good use right now! its a fuckin cool cinema! bitch!".another plus point for them was that the local guy here wants to abolish uni fees and bring back the student grant im all up for that but by the time that ever comes round (like it will anyways hmmph) i'll be long gone and paying tax to give rotten students like myself more money to spend on cds and fuckin beer! fucking rotten man i dont feel represented at all. fuck this. meh. we'll just have to see how it goes.
conservative - are you fuckin kidding me?fightin for the rich is definitely not me.
labour - fuck off "lets fuck students in the ass lets ask for 3 grand more for fees than they pay now. lets put fucking taxes on cars entering the city limits of edinburgh! "haha jokin me. you cunts just want more money for yerselfs.
snp - not my bag i dont feel that scotland should seperate from the UK because altho we put more into the UK than we get back ...we are part of a very strong system and i dont think breaking away is best for the people of the nation. (my own view, may be swayed if someone explains it more thoroughly to me cos ive never reely ventured into it that much)
ssp - i liek a lot of what i got shoved in my face from this party but itl never happen and if it did anyone who wasnt reeal working class would get fucked. a minimum wage of 7.32 is a great idea but the more you do that kind of thing the more lazy people get. if i could get 7.32 an hour from walkin into a job straight away ....fuck i might give up uni. plus the leader of this party seems to be a knob.
lib dems - hardly know any shit about them leaving me to say that they must be the most fucking boring party and probably organise shit pretty well in order to avoid kiddy fiddling scandals in the papers etc. lesser of many evils? who knows... gie me a run down of yer views on the voting situation...i know teeb will be into this and will slay me cos for sum stupid reason ive put more effort into reading about bush and his stupidities than looking at my own country/government/system etc. note to self....must get a fucking clue...
*most of this is bullshit im just disillusioned that i tried to find a party that addressed my worries and there wasnt one* |

| Im trying to find one that best protects my own interests ( because surpsrise surprise it is in my interest to do so) but also has enough room to try and sort shit out for those less fortunate than me, without going ott(like the ssp imo) Which has led me to diverting time from studying to reading the fuckin multitude of flyer thingies ive got in my house. I'm not divulging my vote/s though because frankly it's noones business but mine.

| This is the first year in a while I was able to vote due to being absent from the voters list for while but didn't cos all partys seem as as bad as each other.
I was toying with voting ssp but that sheridan cunt calling everyone brothers and sisters put me right off.
Maybe next year will be the first year I decide to exercise my right to vote, but then again...

| I'm quite up for Scotland seperating from the rest of the UK, we put in more money to the uk than any other country. So tht would make our economy way stronger this does sound a bit capitalist but it would be best for our country. although it mite fail due to noet havin the support of english, welsh n irish compnays. But i'm not up for SNP, they jst seem a bit dilusioned to me, they dont really create a good image they never promise the same thing twice, everytime they speak its always something slightly different and that puts me off. Anyway why am i rambling on its past polling time + i aint even old enough to vote |

| right, ive just given a rant on the other forum but all i will say is scotland get more money than they should from the UK as a whole, repeat, Scotland receive more than they are entititled to, in simple english, we would not be economically more well off if we split from the rest of the UK.
i voted lib dem and green |

| I'm not convinced 'we get more than our fair share'.
But if we do then maybe it's due to the way our English based governement run our country. Maybe if we were run by a Government who had our own best interests at heart rather than say America, we would be able to better manage the resources we have.

| meh i just found out that the lib dems are also up for congestion charges in the city centre. fuck. i aint down wi that. i say make better cars not charge people for using them. idiots. i wish to recall my vote.... haha not reely but im upset. i heard on the grapevine that scotland put in more money per person to the uk than any other country in the uk and got back less tahn they put in... dunno if its true or not tho. whatever i still dont reely wanna be detached from the UK it would create a wider gap between english people and scottish people when reely all thats different is an accent. meh. theres other reasons i guess but i cannae be fucked thinkin right now. |

| in that case gary you should have gone to the polls and spoiled your ballot paper as opposed to simply not voting.
and kenny look into the barnet formula and you will find that scotland as a region of the UK gets more money than anywhere else, but i suggest for sanities sake you just take my word for it.
as for oil and gas fields, their worth is a bit of an exagerated myth.
and according to one of my economics lecturers scotland wouldnt qualify to join the euro, like greece they would be deemed to shite and scaffy to be allowed to join. |

| in retrospect, you're probably right. i'm just sick of the negative tactics and propoganda and all the shit that each and every major party throws at each other in order to see what sticks. these people arent out to do their best for scotland. they're out for a decent pension and a holiday home. fuck them |
