Mini Review : MOR Demo CD

Well was pleasantly surprised this morning when the MOR demo came through the mail today. Thought I'd sit down and give it a proper listen and I was fairly impressed.

Hit the Ground
A good starter, caught my attention, liked the fast guitars and strong vocals. Made sure you didn't sound like every other punk type band out there. Good stuff.

Latino Death Ska
Delivered everything I expected from the title. A great idea and a good track.

Dead Kids
Probably the weakest track on the demo but no complaints really. Kinda got to a point where I was expecting something special to happen but didn't...if you get me.

Tolerance?
Liked this one. Started all soft and slow and I was almost surprised thinking that you'd put a slow track on the end of it. Then it got turned around onto it's head and went total schizo hyper. Liked the energy.

Overall a good wee demo. Punk's not normally my kinda music, so it takes a good bit of originality to impress me. And I was impressed dear sirs. Well done, and maybe hopefully see you at a gig sometime in future.

Hey kenny, guess what I found today. two mps from quailbos garden. Are these the earliest recordings of mor? Man, it's stating the obvious but it's really incredible to see how far you have all come. I've got masturbation nation and an ill advised spur of the moment twinkle twinkle little star with gang vocals. haha, i had totally forgotten them. I'm gonna keep them for a "some old bullshit" style cd in the future along with the early ass lucky 13 tape.

Also, last time i swatched mp3.com all the lucky 13 songs were in like the top 10 most downloads. crazy shit.
