Unfortunately, we forgot that the bag of puppy food was behind the door. The door having been closed, there was a clear path between SmallYappyDog and the puppy food. She tore her way through the packaging, and began to eat. And didn't stop.
We got home to find the ENTIRE bag eaten, and the dog lying, ill, on the kitchen floor. Running your hand along her side, you could actually feel the individual grains of food against the wall of her stomach. A hasty phone call to the vet revealed that the bowl of water we were about to give her was an absolute no-no, as then the food would expand.
It was a nasty couple of days cleaning up, I can tell you. | |

| my cat used to do that: eat way too much, go to walk off, pause, retch, vomit cat food onto the carpet, wander unconcernedly on...

| my old cat, katy, years ago, was terrified of hoovers and would run to hide ontop of the kitchen cabinates then one day she snapped and attacked the thing while it was stationary and ripped the bag to bits n we had to buy a new hoover | |
