So what if my nipple piercing....

What if the skin seems to be growing around the piercing? (yesterday was one week after having it done)
When I went to clean it tonight, (I slide it back and forth slowly to clean it well, just as I've read and was told)... it seemed kind of stuck in my nipple. I actually had to push it kinda hard to get it to move so I could clean it.
Has this ever happened to anyone?
What should I do?
Is it a problem?

I've always wanted this done... finally did, and am not ready to lose it anytime soon... probably not ever.
(but, I also don't want it stuck inside my nipple! lol)

My initial guess would either the bar's too short, or the balls are too small (or both). Go back to where you got it done and get the bar changed to a longer one and maybe with larger balls on it.

Also, you really shouldn't be moving it about when you clean it, as it just disrupts the very delicate healing tissue. Soak it in dilute salt water (proportions are in the Piercing FAQ) without moving it about and leave it the hell alone at all other times, and it'll probably heal faster without as much swelling.
