Well, I can't say I expected a full scale debate to come out from this, but thanks for all the replies.
In reply to Joe Spinebuster: I want it done there because I personally love period costume etc and as I have a professional job, wanted as a personal thing to get it done there. Much the same as why some women get waxed or pierced down there. It's not specifically there for men to see, certainly not for some cheesy pick up line and I'm not a stripper or a whore.
As some posters correctly concurred, it's simply because I want it there
I am, as it happens, also looking to get a tattoo on the side of my foot but didn't think this fitted into the "Nipple &
Genital Tattoos or Piercings" area of the forum.
Many thanks to the people who have advised - Ladysavage - I had thought of the waxing idea...lol...can't imagine stubbly or tender skin would help at all :-)
Ghostsuit & Exitw0unds, I appreciate your responses with regards as to why I would want something like that done...you are exactly right, it's a personal choice and something I have wanted done for some time...cheers for 'sticking up' for my choice :-)
