could just be bruising coming out, just keep them clean. Didn't think you could get pierced with coloured titanium, i thought it was only for healed piercings, but i may be wrong!
Hi,
I got my nipples pierced 5/6 days ago and the skin above each of them has recently turned yellow. It's like a slight hint of yellow.
I've had no pus whatsoever and it's not sore.
The bar has a kind of yellowy sheen to it (pink titanium barbell) so I don't know if the two are related.
Anybody know what it is?

don't get paranoid, i may be wrong, it's been ages since i got mine done! If you have any concerns at all don't hesitate to go back to your piercer.
There's also loads of other folk on here with tons of piercing knowledge, they're obviously still in bed!
I'd say they probably are just bruised, especially with them done so recently, it should fade over the next couple of days
I've never known for anyone to pierce with coloured bars either, where did you get it done?

I would have thought in light of GPS and Nirvana piercing with blackline, if the coloured ones are infact surgical titanium too and can be sterilised in the same way then places might use them.
Even if you could get pierced with it I wouldn't recommend any colours other than blackline as they lose colour and fade pretty easily over time. Also, you try and get more jewellery the same shade and it doesn't really happen.

only time i've had skin around a body mod was when i got my microdermals and they had slight bruising all around. i'd say just carry on with the usual cleaning routine for a couple of days and see if the colour/potential bruising fades over that time.
although piercing studios are generally always happy to take a look at your piercings if you're worried about them so if you're that para, might be worth it just to pop in for ease of mind.
Stick a photo up and I'll give you my unprofessional opinion![]()

It's just some white blood. Definitely not puss. What I did when I had some new piercings done, I poured some iodine solution on it.
