General advice:
Almost all 'clit piercings' are hood piercings, as the rest of the helpful folk up there have said.
For some girls, they'll be mostly decorative - for most though, they do make a positive difference sexually (whether that's by acting as a signpost, by giving them unexpected nudges and rubs whilst going about their daily lives, or by acting as an extra pressure point during sex).
What you won't find is that it affects you much, as a guy.
You won't notice it during penetration (unless she's the kinda girl who grinds hard on you when she's on top - then you might get it rubbing against you a teeny bit), but it does take a wee bit of getting used to when you're going down on her. For a while you're likely to be too careful because it's new and weird. After the initial settling in period though, it's just another toy to play with. One warning - rings on fingers are a no-no if your fingers are heading down there... don't want to get tangled or caught up, do you?
