Not many places do actual clit piercings anyways, or in the old days anyways when i considered getting it done See if you have your clit pierced there's a chance of loosing all feeling in your clit for good :/

Its the hood part that generally gets done vertically so its less likely to catch.

Personally I decided not to get it done as its not a piercing I'd like to have rip O_o May or may not get in the way/hurt during sex, i have mates who have said yup it does & nope.

hardly anywhere pierces clits cos they dont want to get it wrong, which it is very easy to do. Hood piercings dont hurt during sex, in fact they're quite pleasurable. Unless you pull on it really *really* hard, it's not going to rip/tear and it in no way gets in the way of anything...

I know a girl (...) whose hood piercing stretched 'itself' (yeah. right.) and the 7mm ball that she had on the end of the banana bell just kept dropping out. whilst i'm quite fond of stretches, i don't particularly embrace the idea of a seven mm hole in my clit.

clit hood piercings are good, and fun in the terms of sex life once it's fully healed.
actual clit piercings aren't often performed for 2 reasons, the risks involved are quite hefty, and the second being, not many women's clits are actually big enough to pierce anyways, which is why people tend to get hood piercings or triangle piercings instead.

if she's worried about it that much just dont do it, or consider an alternative genital piercings such as inner labia or outer labia piercings, which also look really nice and carry SLIGHTLY lesser risks, but as with all piercings there is a risk involved.
