Nipple piercing!

Okay, I want my nipple done. I was gonna wait til I turned 15/16, but is that still too young?
And another question (Im sure this q's popped up before!)...does it hurt really badly? I've only got my lobes, and my lower lip done, so Im not sure about the pain.

yes it's too young. yes it hurts, its excrutiating horrible pain.

but, seriously.

your body is still growing, so it's a bad idea. it's illegal, so thats another bad idea. you could be jeopardising the livlihood of someone who you entrust to pierce you. as regards pain, everyone has different pain thresholds - so we can't really judge how you will experience the pain of a nipple piercing. it's a much thicker piece of tissue than a lobe or lower lip...

it is very painful and takes a lot of looking after, much more than a lip piercing as im now finding out....like Violet said, ur far too young to get it done cos ur still growing...read the piercing FAQ which is jsut above u.

Its the most painful thing i had done and made me feel sick wen i had to clean it first time.
Yes, you're too young, the scar tisue will fuck with it a bit as you haventfinished growing yet. And as said before, it takes alot of lookin after. i took mine out after a year cos i just plain didnt like it, i only got it pierced cos it seemed "cool" at the time

everyones pain thresholds different, nipple pericings didn't bother me except the second time round.
wait til your 16 at cos technically nowhere should pierce you before then anyways

My mate had hers done when we were 18, and she cried, it was that sore! Then she got it caught on her lacy bra, and ripped it! She cried even more!!!
Wait til you're older, if you still like the idea of having your nip pierced, then get it done legally. And if you do, for the love of Bob, stay away from lacy bras!!!!

of course it is too young, i was 18 when i got mines done and even the woman said that her main clients were older. are you sure you want to get it done so young? what is the attraction of getting your nipple done at such a young age? i only got mines cause my boyfriend had his done and the main reason was a personal one, and not really for display.(of course lol)

i will be honest, pain depends on the person, i have heard hundreds of people on here saying it is the worst pain they have felt, my friend who is a big guy said its the most painful thing ever - worse than his lip, i dont know what the hell i was on or whether the thought of work distracted me but i didnt feel much, ok it did hurt for a little while, and it throbbed all week after it but it wasnt the worst but you have had a lot more than me done so i couldnt compare it to lobes or lip. but from the opinions of many people here and who i know, apparently it is and its gonna be a very big decission. ive had problems with mines since i had it done years ago and its just constantly getting infected, due to heat (cause its quite a hidden/covered place so sweat and other things can affect it. you constantly have to keep it clean, morning noon and night i find can help. and after i got it done again i was told it pusses for months - i was told AT LEAST 9 months after getting it done, having to wear tight clothes with that seeping through isnt the sexiest thing ever lol.

i have a lot of problems with infection sadly and i think it is time to have to take it out as when it gets infected, it can "scab over" a little bit and its not very attractive and i also can find it bleeding at times. ive tried everything to clear it like salt water, carex, lotions etc and nothing works, so its a very big responsibility.

i would think about doing something else before you get something like nipples done.

If your a guy they pierce the tissue behind the nipple anyway. So i'm sure if you wanted 2 get it done fool there wouldn't be a problem. Mine were really small aswell and i managed 2 get them pierced.

i was one of the 'most painful experience ever' people

i've had 15 other piercing before getting my nipples done, and i can safely say that nipples hurt WAY more than any of my other one
but i wouldn't give them up

mine have started to heal up REALLY well...only throbbed VERY slightly for a day (and that was only cos i was very cold)
and then they felt fine

they crust quite alot, but that's expected
now 2 months on, they're great (however my right one kept getting knocked about (not my fault!) so it was pretty tender a few days ago)

but seriously...wait til you're 18 (i don't really think i have to go into why...there are countless posts (many made by me and ms. grimm) about why you should wait
