Female breasts being considered ‘genitals’ would make a lot of sense, as exposure of either is generally considered ‘indecent’ except in certain circumstances (e.g., breast-feeding), and touching of either by anybody other than a member of the medical profession (which despite their oft-bountiful knowledge, piercers aren't) is considered ‘inappropriate’ (and would more often than not be considered an incident of sexual abuse).

where i work we use a strictly over 18 policy on nipple piercings unless with a parent or guardian, and when over 18 anyone having nipple/genital piercings MUST be accompanied by another member of staff or a friend to cover our arses really... hope this helps at all

hmmm...definetly thought you had to be 18 at least all the places iv ever been pierced at have asked for 18 id. would seem wrong if they would pierce a 16 year old nipples! | |

legaly anything under 16 is indecent assault, and the piercer can be charged as such.
physicly, you're not fully developed even at 18....
moraly, i wouldn't think you are mature enough to make such a descision untill you're at least 18. | |

the girl asked if anyone pierced nipples AT 16, because she couldnt find anywhere. we dont pierced anyone under 16 unless they have parent/gaurdian consent. Except for the genital area.

any kind of infection there can be very very dangerous (albeit a minor chance) should you want to breastfeed later in life which isn't something most girls think about at 16 as i'm fairly sure you're aware?
personaly i wouldn't be happy doing it to anyone under 18 anyway. | |
