Kids must be provided with an education, however guidelines on how they get that education are becoming more wooly from what I can see. The numbers of school refusers is growing and local authorities are begining to offer home school to some of these kids. There are also numbers of kids who are educated at home. Neither of these two groupings are the norm but they do show that there are alternatives.
Piercings do not effect a childs education. People are cruel and there are many things you can get victimised for at school, piercings are just another one of those things.
Funny thing is...in the original argument over whether or not under 18's could get nipple piercings without parental consent I quite clearly stated my beliefs as far as under age piercing goes. Therefore as far as I'm concerned kids having piercings at school shouldn't even raise itself as an issue.
