Not from there but I have to travel through the place when I go up to see relatives in Portsoy. Seen alot worse in glasgow but its definately not my favourite of places.

Yeah I'm from the Aberdeen area but down in Glasgow for Uni. I'd have to agree with you that it is a bit of a shithole really! The only redeeming features are Moshulu rock nights & Black Atom!!

It's the smallest, friendliest big city, or the biggest village, you'll find & it also has good transport links to Glasgow & Edinburgh to escape when it starts feeling like a shithole.

I've been to Aberdeen a couple of times i live in Arbroath near montrose and dundee. so i spent my time in dundee mainly.
