29/06/03 - *OVER 14s SHOW* with KATY BAR THE DOOR, Reasons For The Insanity, trm

All the above gigs take place at Starka Bar, 352 Brandon Street, Motherwell. Doors open 8.30pm and tickets can be purchased only on the night of the gig. Unless otherwise stated, all gigs are over 18s only, in some cases photographic ID may be required.

im gutted canne make co-piloit tonight, shall be at tuts

aint degrassi the band that big bob fairful plays with now? we met him at the liquid rooms on monday and braehead on tuesday, cannae for the life of me remember what we / he was talkin bout!

should be at all them gigs apart from tonight and 12th, especially lookin forward to alpacinos, plan a/cherrykicks, and katy bar the door! (excellent at tuts!)

Hell yes and Jihabradea indeedly !........ Seen Recently in the last 2 weeks....(live):KATY BAR THE DOOR (stonkin Dundee Nirvana rock now playing t in ra park..), DEGRASSI (ex-idlewild --- top riffing -- super heavy !!), MONKEY BOY (2 basses and wan drummer that is a top ranter chanter !), CLOSER (hmm...not bad but had a better "dancing" accompianyyyymento !)".), SLIDER (noo bad..), HOLMES (heavy bevvy wae a womah drummer !), DASKYWALKERS (punk ala Swede ), PENCILHEADS (glesga rock ?),, FIVE KNUCKLE (stonkin...i thought the singer was gonna explode !), 1" VOLCANO (kinda mental...in a dundee way ?), REASONS FOR THE INSANITY (catchy..good...and pretty different !), WEE JIMMY and LJ ---- acoustic guitar and drums --- majik !!!....(gr8), Bullion (nooo bad), Braindead Hicks (as the title says...but not too bad at all !!), 4 Past Midnite.....(old skool punks ..quite goosey in certain ways !!), STILL LIFE (stonkin blues rock...guitarist was awesome...but maybe a lil too loud ?)...
TEMPLE LOCK ??? (or something like that !!) --- good blues based --- old style hanoi, gnr reef type band.. !
