[Soundgarden] soundgarden closed?

Ok guys, whats the scoop with Starka/Soundgarden? The Degrassi gig cancelled ...whats happening with all the other acts that were lined up? Are you returning and when? Shame to loose one of the best venues in Scotland.

Thanks for the kind words dan, here's the official line at the moment...

The owners of Starka Bar has some issues to resolve and were forced to close the pub on Thursday, the cancellation of the gig had nothing to do with Soundgarden or Degrassi.

It now looks like the pub will be re-opening this Thursday, 4th September, under a new name and perhaps new ownership, although this is not 100% confirmed.

Obviously, as soon as we know, you guys will be told.

For anyone who cares the Degrassi show will be resheduled.

wahoooooooooooooooooooooooo ------------------ my psychic transmutating sheep herd has just informed me that ra bar and pub will re-open tomorrow (wednesdayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy) and SLIDER are playing in the venue on Thursday --- it'll be good to see exactly what they have changed inside (or not !!) um..................but stilll a standing open pub is dearly better than a shut doon wan ! um......

um...wait wait wait...ill check oot ma critttttttttttttsul baw...!......hehj...im sure it is defo SLIDER and a few other local shmokles....um....in fact if you contact me :and i learn to use my mobile i could even retrieve pattons mobile number !!! cos he could tell us.....coincidentally i seen him last night he dun som vocals furra dug songs at bones...and he reckoned it all be kewl by wednesday anyhows...so if yer going through on thurs geeees a bell or a shiny email and ill reflect the detention duties of a sporadic tomato your way. (in udder wurds - ill be there if yer going over.)
