Do they play an instrument? No. Do they sing? No. Do they just ponce around mixing other peoples stuff and making me feel sick? Yes.
As for Oasis - oh what a joy to watch some tosser standing with his hands clasped behing his back and tapping one foot all night. Oh to be the epitome of cool! Let's face it even his voice is a one trick pony. The rest of the band are OK but their material sucks.
Now I prefer Blur slightly, but Damon Albarn genuinely can't sing. At all. And he has a very weak voice. So he can't get away with not being able to sing. At all. Hence their mysterious and sudden demise. There are only 4 tunes that can be composed to suit someone that can't sing and doesn't have a voice:
The boys who like girls one - a drunk person with a speech impediment can cope with this
Parklife - not really singing is it
Country House - a deaf person can sing this q
And song number 4 or whatever it's called - only involves screeching WoooHooo
No the whole Brit Pop cool Britannia thing was a load of shite.
Don't get me started on the Stone Roses either...
