Everyone I know wanks.

| Re: Aberdeen-music.com The scene in Aberdeen can be very cliquey. Folk from the city wont realise it cos they have all their mates from school around when they make their fist foray into the scene. If folk turn up in levis and a designer shirt they get shunned. If they actually look altenative but better than everyone else they say ooo who the fuck do he/she/it think they are.
Outside all the cliques you find loads of really cool people who genuinely dont judge anyone. Fortunately you will find that these people are the folk running the altenative scene in Aberdeen.
My earlier comment about aubl was not a relfection on the dudes who run the gigs just some of the idiots who post on their site |

| Re: Aberdeen-music.com Im part of the scene and it's very much a case of who yu know and not what you play. Aberdeen-music.com is a place for pre(and post) pubescent fucks who have no actual idea of good metal slagging the fuck out of the labouring metal bands. That said not all the peeps on it are like that but a vast quantity are.
And then you have the peeeps who just logg on to start shit. Here=Good. Aberdeen music=Slaggfest. |

| Re: Aberdeen-music.com We have a forum in aberdeen-music and it's great. I think the only difference is that there are more locals subscribing to aberdeen-music and therefore more local politics. There are both plus and minus points. In my opinion both sites are equally wonderful, and I try my best to diffuse trouble in our forums. Therefore...
...no offence people, but I'd rather not see any more slagging on this subject in this forum.
Please?

Everywhere else had stopped stocking it with the exception of No. 10 (they restricted me to a max of 2 pints per visit), and I badly needed my fix.
We also stock other substances of a similar ilk.

| Re: Aberdeen-music.com i can say in all honesty that i don't find the aberdeen music scene to be cliquey at all and if it is, who cares, if its the music youre interested in then why does it matter who you are or arent "in" with??
i kinda randomly stumbled into the scene and wasnt really all that worried about befriending the people involved, more interested in discovering some new talent, luckily i can say i did both, aberdeen is full of dedicated hard working people so dont diss the scene, aberdeen is awesome, i miss it! |
