I learned this week that a friend of mine has joined the BNP. Im quite (to say the least) dissapointed in this. However he's been trying to persuade people to go to some march in Edinburgh this weekend. Obviously no-one's going. I've not seen him as of yet but Im not looking forward to it. He was good craic and had decent values but somewhere of late its gone wrong.
I know when I see him he's gonna ask me to go and he's not gonna like my answer. Nor the fact that Im a Commie. I fuckin hate fascists. Im sad that he's gone this way. Just a product of a crap welfare system and I guess he needs someone to blame. Still no excuse though. | |

I feel happy in the knowledge that i live in acountry where these fascist's have the right to express thier views.
We have an equal right to disagree with them. And to disagree with the roads being blocked off so they can march.
Im thinking of mad max 2 now and the big blockade runner truck at the end with the snow plow.
Someone i know suggested lining the streets with everyone and just turning our backs on them. Another suggested saving up eggs in a warm pace right now for if and when they march.
If we just beat the shit out of them we are just as bad as them. | |

When my band finished our set at the Punk against racism gig at Rockers a guy came up and offered us a gig on the 28th in Aberdeen, told us about the march and how some guy had booked a venue. When I have more details I shall give you them.
The buskers every 50 yards idea was one that myself and lolita were passing between each other, mainly from me to her really, nothin set in stone.
