[Moshulu] Xmas Eve & New Year p'raps

What's open Xmas Eve this year, in the wonderful city of Aberdeen, as far as Alternative partying is concerned?

Christmas Eve is a Saturday, if I'm not mistaken, so I'm presuming/hoping there's something decent on so that for a few hours I can try to forget I have to work on Christmas Day.

Stuff to do around 30th Dec-2nd Jan would be useful too.

Ok, it seems I'm talking to myself here, but for anyone who might want the info I may aswell post it now that I have it:

Exodus is open 10:30pm-3am on Xmas Eve and 10:30pm-4am on NYE.

Moshulu is open as normal on both nights 11pm-1am.

The guy in the Bassment said "normal Saturday so 11pm-1am" and I'm only here for a few weeks so I have no idea of what the normal times are.

If it's 3am that's ace! Although work the next day might not be so fun.

i have no idea what's on in aberdeen over xmas Only got back in the area on Monday and i live too far out of town to consider any shenanigans til after xmas... and it would appear i'll be in Glasgow for new year

But there *must* be something on! Mind you, there aren't many Aberdonians on this forum so you could be waiting a while for a proper reply

Went to The Bassment until 11pm on Xmas Eve and then headed next door for Moshulu. There was literally the two of us there for the first two hours, and nobody else that wasn't staff. We left at 2am because I had work the next day, but there was only about 15 or so people at that point (although I was a little wasted, so there may have been more/less).

According to the staff working that night (trust me, I asked most of them at least once), Moshulu is open at NEW Year until 3am, but will stay open until 5am if there are enough people in.

Doubt I'll be making an appearance anyway though, as on a "normal" day I'm a £25 taxi fare away.
