On a more serious note....I was having a similar conversation in the pub recently.
If I only had one child who was gay, I'd imagine I'd be disappointed. Not in the child, of course, absolutely not. But the possibility of no grandchildren would probably disappoint me if I'm totally honest. | |

Nah, i'd not care. Maybe it'd be better to know though so that when your kid hits puberty and realises he/she's different, it won't be so emotionally traumatic for them. | |

Re the possible extra difficulties he/she would face, I wouldn't imagine eg black people consider not having children due to the increased chances of racism their children would face!
