| night time hey guys,
Jack has been toilet trained for a good 6 month now, but still hasn't grasped the waking up in the night to go.
Any tips?
I've tried pull up's night time pants, and pampers pads, and explained to him that if he needs to pee in the night he should go or wake me up and i'll take him.
But other than that im not really sure what to do
Also.
3 year olds...
I think Jack is quite smart for his age, he can count to 13 and is full of knowledge, like he knows where honey, milk, and eggs come from. He also recognises his name 'jack' if its printed on a computer, and none of this has been forced on him
Just wondering... is this the usual learning speed for a child of his age.

Just try and avoid juice before bed time!
She can count to twenty at least, knows all the words to music my sister plays and knows how to work the sky box and dvd player!

| Re: night time Why did you do it?
Nah, it's a test apparently, for Autism. At least, according to my developmental psychology class.

i've also heard of a test about a mask.... the child must recognise that when you put a mask on you are still the same person.
not sure what it test for but
heard of that one?

| Re: night time Something like that aye. The kid has a vision of themself and must be able to recognize other states, so if you put a mask on him, or some make up, and he didn't recognize himself... even if he knew he had the mask/make up on, then they say he has a weak theory of mind (an aspect of autism).

| Re: night time i used to do one with a ball, spinning a ball in a glass, lifting the glass slightly, letting the ball slide out while still spinning the glass. then once the balls gone you lift the glass and ask the child where its gone.
also not sure what the point of this is.
My mate was high on coke one night and kept me up for 4 hours talking about tests i can do on jack
