| Re: Places to take kids I just suggested Drumpellier Country Park! Quote:
The park is popular for a number of recreational activities including: an adventure playground, guided walks, Jogging, dog walking, picnic areas, water - based activities such as boating, and angling. Rangers are available to support school projects and to give talks to interested groups. The ranger service usually have a full programme of walks and activities
The park covers an area of 500 acres and comprises of 2 natural lochs, heathland, woodland and grassland - with lots of paths. The Monklands canal lies towards the southern perimeter of the park. The lochs and the canal attract a large number of water birds - both resident and migratory.

| Re: Places to take kids More thinking of like activity things, a park is a park, she's only 2, having pretty trees next to the swings wont make much difference to her.

| Re: Places to take kids The Falkirk Wheel. Quote: |
The Falkirk Wheel is a rotating boat lift connecting the Forth and Clyde Canal with the Union Canal.
| A ROTATING BOAT LIFT.
I mind I got dragged to this when I was younger. Most boring thing ever.

Best bet, take her to Central station, let her chase the pigeons around all day, and you can sit in the big waiting area with a Starbucks laughing hystericaly at her. Kids love chasing pigeons

Anyway, I've no idea why anyone would want to visit the falkirk wheel as an attraction. Great build though.
Has anyone suggested taking your kids to the canal?
