Pencil Head in Live Show Shocker

All of the Following Shows Have Been Cancelled.

We've got a few gigs coming up in and around Glasgow to help us get back into the swing of things. After the gig at the note the other week we realised how out of practcie we actually are. All the info in this thread can be found at www.PencilHead.com/dates too. Can also sign up to our mailing list to request more detailed information n shit like that.

Well here goes:

Wednesday the 24th of May
Gallusbilly, The Glasgow Art School
If you don't already know then Gallusbilly is (usually) a monthly pshycho/rockabilly night held at the Glasgow Art School.

Ran by our friend Anna (cabot_Gal) and her dj'n counterpart Jeremy they play a variety of psychobilly, rockabilly + rock n roll. It's a mere £3 entry fee for normal folk with an even cheaper £1 if you're a student attending the art school. The doors open at 10pm and it runs until 3am. Only this time you're getting an added bonus: Pencil Head.

There will be other bands on the bill, we just don't know who yet. As soon as we find out we'll post it.

Flying Monkey Attack: the Queers @ the Barfly
Just incase you've been living in a cave for the past 23 years listening to nothing but crustcore on your wind up gramaphone radio (shamelessly stolen) I'll introduce you to The Queers.

Other bands on the bill include: Eastfield, The Alpacinos, Who Shot Jonson, The Try-Hards + Shatterhand. Tickets cost £7 and it starts at 8pm. Over 18's only.

You've heard the song, now live the dream. PencilHead will be playing live at The Steamie in Greenock on the 24th of June 2005.

You don't know what the steamie is?.. Well the Steamie is the place dreams come true. The place that during the week, is filled with friendly faces (from the inverclyde centre) and interesting smells (Mick). Where every Friday night someone is stabbed to death and where Pat takes the stage on Saturdays singing the best kareoke this side of the Globe. The place where most of us drank away our childhoods. If that doesn't make you wanna come to the show then I dunno what will, but how about the fact that it's free? That you can get 2 double jack n cokes for a fiver* n that mick will be working topless at the bar**.
