Good to know.
I've found it! I just saw it run across the room, and under the door into my cupboard. Catching it however...
It's in the cupboard between my room and your room. I think you're safe.
JEN i dunno if someone has already pointed this out.
But THIS HAPPENED TO ME mines escaped tho, i found it a few days later in the kitchen, but the thing is you cant put them back together now as they wont recognise each other and fight. Thats what i did wrong!

edit: read thread first
I think they'll be okay, they've only been apart a few hours and like i said they're brothers so i imagine they'll be able to I don't know..smell each other or something! Cheers though Laura!
I've had to trap him in the cupboard because he's hiding and i don't have the energy to pull out all the furniture in there. Should i put the cage with Mac in there with him?
Mines were brothers too.
To be honest, i think one of mine actually starved itself so that it could fit through the bars. And then because it was away for about 4 days, the brother didnt recognise it, or it smelled different and it killed it.
Mind you, i have no right to talk about hamsters. Ive not seen mine in a whole week now coz my mum has it.

I'll go ask Kirsten on MSN. I don't want to separate them, they're so cute together.![]()

I can't bloody catch him though!
omg so it had actually squeezed out of the bars on the cage? are you sure he won't beable to escape from the cupboard if you leave him there overnight??
The only way out of the cupboard is under the door. I've put a towel under it, really tightly tucked in. I think i'll need to try and get him out tonight as much as i should really be going to bed. Fuck.
I don't think he squeezed through the bars, i think SOMEONE left the cage open.
ah i see cos i used to have hamsters and i was like no waycanthey fit through the bars! my sisters hamster has escaped been set free when the door's been left open so many times. the last time they wre on holiday i had to pull out every bottom door on the middle floor of the house and search through it and search through every box/item of clothing/thing on the floor and couldn't find him. then hours lter he was just standing in the middle of the floor looking cute! yours might chew through the towel if he wants out though?:s
He's only a baby, his teeth aren't anywhere near sharp enough yet! Or if he could do it it would take him a reaaaally long time.
I got him out of the cupboard but he's evaded me again. I'm really hoping he didn't get under my door.
