| Roborovski Hamsters
..Do they eat each other? I've somehow managed to lose one of our hamsters, but the cage was locked and the other one is still safely tucked up inside. I've been home since half six and i haven't seen or heard the other one in my room.
I'm very confused. They're brothers and they generally seem to get along too, so i can't imagine one would attack the other.

hmmm. hamsters are bloody expert at escaping, but I would also say that an old friend of mine had 3, and found that when one died, the other 2 did start to eat the poor wee bugger. hope he's alright.

No fluff, no blood. I pure don't get it, why would one escape and the other one stay in the cage? How did he even get out?!
At first i thought one of the Petes was playing a joke on me, now i'm absolutely flabbergasted. I'm too scared to sleep now aswell as I don't want to wake up with a hamster on my face.
Also, I just remembered the guy in the shop said they'd definitely be fine together because they were related. Maybe he was just talking nonsense.

It's a small bar cage. It has tubes coming out it, they're all in tact. There is a tiny gap (too small even for these hamsters) next to one of the tubes. It had/has a box full of lighters on the top of it, weighed down. The box has not moved.
I'm going to set up a video camera in my room.
Someone lend me a video camera?

a mate of mine had 3 dwarf hamsters and eventually ended up with one after 2 ganged up on one then one ate the other one. evil wee buggers.

Nah it's a cage designed for dwarf hamsters. The spaces between the bars are absolutely tiny. No way could he have gotten through there, bone or no bone.

I remember my mate lost his hamster, found it 10 years later when he was moving house.
