Sorry, that sounds harsh, but pets are kinda like children - you don't know what's going to happen and you really do just have to deal with it.

If you can't afford to look after the dog, take her to a rescue shelter, and have a good hard think before you decide to get another.

From what you are saying, it seems like now the dog is more work you can't be bothered looking after it, so you want it destroyed out of convenience. Well, as a dog owner, who has a chocolate labroador, who is actually only 2, you need to, repeat, need to train your dog correctly.

The dog/vet expert is pantgirl, she's going to tell you the EXACT same thing, that NO vet, in their right mind, is going to euthanise a dog that is, at the end of the day, perfectly healthy, that you are too lazy to look after properly, just because it cant run about.

You've already been telt - the VET decides what is the best thing for the dog, not you.
Take it there.

The vet won't put it down because it has a bad leg, trust me.
You cant force a vet to put an animal down by the way.

Yeah as cookie said you really aren't coming across very well here at all. Having a dog IS EXPENSIVE so if you can't afford it then you should seriously think about not having one at all. I really feel bad for the dog you have just now. It doesn't really sound like you are looking after it very well at all.

My advice would be to get your dog along to the vet as soon as possible and get the vet to look at it's leg. Then you should maybe think about getting one of these.
