she is only a few hours old here..

It is nice, looks very cosy, what size is it? Where is her mum and dad? Do snakes curl up with their mum like mammals?

zoomed in aye.. shes just out her egg there.. so teeny tiny.. its a baby royal python...my largest snake I have at moment is about 7ft.. hes a stunner.. but for cuteness factor thought this one was sweet... given half the chance the larger snake would have this one for brekkie..

no LOL... the snake lays the eggs... and doesnt stick around.. in the wild if an adult snake came across a baby one it would likely just eat it..

not sure why i find them so sweet.. maybe i have an odd sense what cute is!

Nature is mental, as if other predators aren't dangerous enough without your parents eating you. Does she instinctively know to do a runner from her folks?

Let's see the 7ft monster, size of cage do you need to keep that? Please don't say it sleeps in the bed with you

me.. snakes... sleep.. bed...

Only joking.. no it has its own tank.. furnished with logs and wee caves and he munches often on mice..

I gave this wee hatchling to my BF as a present so she is currently residing with him.. far away from her parents.. hopefully shes safe..

I was wanting to get a wee corn snake but eh, I wouldn't have my girlfriend under the same roof any more lol.

her name is miracle.. shes only ickle... I like ickle snakes of the reptile variety..

But dont mind the big ones dependant on who they are attatched too...

Pythons are awesome. My dad's mate had one, imaginatively called Monty, who kept escaping. Yet another animal on my list of "not allowed until we have a bigger house".
