| I just caught a spider
As I am always made to do stuck in a house full of girls but this one is a belter. It's really big so I've decided to keep it. Anyway he now lives in an old Tomato Sauce bottle and I'm looking for flies to catch and feed him. However it's a bit late for danny-long-legs now. Do you reckon a house spider could handle a cricket?

It's pretty big for a house spider but not massive. The breadth of it, including legs, is just bigger than a two bob.
I caught it with the ol' glass and paper method.

i quite like spiders and bugs, but only if its decent sized cant stand em if tiny body and huge legs for some reason.
