The problem with the pitcher picture (ooh), I think, is that the lines of the dome draw the eye straight out of the frame before you really get a chance to take in the image. Compositionally it's a bit of a mess, much as I love the colours. Quote:

And it is fien advice for photos taken five minutes away from home. I always mean to start a database/calendar/spreadsheet (bit of scrap paper) with photos to "go back & take better" matched with the weather & time of day needed to do so. |

| Re: Photo-A-Day III tell me about it. every year they try to build one in the shed. not sure about this year cause we cant go into the shed untill the robins leave. had a nest right thru the wall in my bedroom once. couldnt sleep because of the scratching

| Re: Photo-A-Day III My mums old shed had wee wasp nests in it. One was broken in half and the other was intact but (thankfylly) empty. Like all wierd things, I collected them and took them home  Sod sleeping beside an active one tho :/
