Yeh, subject line pretty much says it all. Pangea (a monthly drum'n'bass night in dunee) are looking for a photographer to become our regular phototaker each month.
Before we just used to use our own digi cams, but photo quality was never great, and we're all quite busy & drunk throughout the night and either forget to take pics or just take ones that arent brilliant. We've have a few photographers come and take proper photos for us before (jack waddington -
www.kdy-side.com), but none of thats a 'regular thing' and we really want to start up a relationship with a budding photographer that
will be a regular thing.
Essentially what we're looking for is someone whos looking to boost up their folio/experience with nightclub photography, experience in photographing dj's/nightclubs isnt neccesay, altho a general experience in photography is.
You'd most prob be spending a fair bit of time with all of us, (the pangea crew) so youd have to be fairly easy-going/up for a party as well. (even tho we'd be wanting you to be the most sober out the lot of us during the night!)
Pangeas are usually the 3rd friday of each month, in dundee. There'd be pay involved that'd cover your travel and expenses, and down the line a bit we could reach an agreement where your getting a little extra for for your troubles.We wouldnt be paying for any accomodation up here mind, altho we'd be happy to put you up for the night in one of our flats here.
We are pretty much only using the photos for online, but also are trying to build a folio soon that we'd be wanting prints for.
