Fallenblackrose - :lmao: typo! I meant "eating BERRIES" not bears. I was at work and trying to type quickly...woops! Now, the grizzlies were eating a mountain goat, but the black bears were happily herbivorous whenever I saw them.

Westy, thanks! I had plenty of time to do lots of expirimenting. It was a great trip!

Thanks!! I became a big fan of those chipmunks, they move incredibly fast! Hopefully I'll have a chance to upload of the other shots of them soon. It was worth the 6 mile hike!!

Thanks! The Canadian Rockies were a great place to visit. I'd love to go back sometime. Being at high altitude was very different from what I'm used to. I live in Southern Maryland, pretty much at sea level. I've been skiing but "mountains" around here aren't that high. There are only three mountains in Maryland over 3000', most are under 2000. They're are more like small hills.

Wow, glad you had a good time and well done with capturing it! I wanted to go to Jasper ever since I was a kid cos I had a bunch of ancient viewmaster reels of pictures of the place; never been further west than toronto yet though... but your pics are making me wanna get over that way!
