Might do some photo-shoppery to make up for it though.
This makes me sad. Maybe we could get a couple of cheap disposables or something? I love my 35mm - it's a great camera when it has power.

I really need a tripod for film photography. I shake too much other wise.

I've had that for a few months, I took it with me to St. Andrew's and used it to take some really good pictures on my Ixus. Definitely worth the investment, especially if you travel around.

Indeed. I spent ages playing with them last summer when i was working in a photography department. Just never had the money to buy one. They're magical though!

Hmm...some mediocre shots taken at goma and on da soufside so far. Bit of a shite day.
Think i'm going to wait til darkness falls and take the tripod out.

Re: World Film Photo Day 20th March 2008

My out of date disposable camera's sent over from Germany seem to doing not to bad so far. Wether anything actually comes out is another thing though.

If the battery still has some energy left in it I'll have a go with the B&W tonight

Saw some fun things, took the "let's go to scary parts of Glasgow" route and felt suitably nervous at various points.

I have Triggerhappy's gorillapod, I may keep it

Re: World Film Photo Day 20th March 2008

Hmm...well i only managed one roll.

Seems as if i've gone for one or two big collagey type photos as opposed to singles, guess i'll wait and see how they come out.

Re: World Film Photo Day 20th March 2008

I only had one shot left on the Mamiya, and that seemed like overkill.

I have been running around town with a roll of 120 from last week trying to find somewhere that can develop in house but without any luck

Re: World Film Photo Day 20th March 2008

Anyone else get photos d&p'd yet?

This was the bulk of the film i shot. It's a bit of an ode to Adrian Brannan. Been wanting to try this for a while.
Decided on Shawlands as i've lived there for the past 2 years but i'm moving away soon. Wanted something to remember it by.

Pentax ME Super, SMC Pentax-A 28mm F/2.8, various apertures, various exposures.

Probably post the others i got when i scan 'em all in etc.

Re: World Film Photo Day 20th March 2008

Haha...on a side note, it appears after me posting the picture above, there's now one more picture from the day on AltNation than there is on the 'official' site.

...I guess this wasn't a very widely publicised event.
