IPCT DAta - Photoshop/Lightroom

Is there a way to edit a photos IPCT data from Photoshop or Lightroom?

Lightroom (1.4), yes:

In the Library module, the right hand panel, down the bottom in "Metadata" section,
There should be a dropdown with IPTC as an option.

Simply type in the new values you want.
You can select multiple images and alter them all at once, for RAW files I think the default is to create a sidecar file so you'd have to then use Lightroom's own Export to get stuff into the jpeg.

You can also set up Import Presets so that extra IPTC info is added at that point - most useful for adding copyright info I find.
