Ok, so here's lou's final thoughts on this thread.
Personally, i think that anyone who is involved in music, be it performing or organising or whatever, should have the professionalism not to be so narrow minded and brand a genre shite. The reason i've made the effort to actually post this is cos i sing jazz and the music i write is really jazz based. It might not be avante-garde, ot standard, but its still jazz and you've basically just said what i do is shite and i canny b fucked with that:P
Its all a matter of opinion and thats fine, but its a shite opinion:P
