| Re: Bcw training The website was down because Colin didn't pay his bills and got a new guy to do it on the cheap. He still owes Spinner money for the old site.
BCW is still alive and well and has been putting on new shows and trying to get over the "we need Americans for crowds" rule. There are some new bookers though, they're using SWA guys and Colin McKay is now BCW Champion.
Their training is still dead in the water. BCW guys have been using our facility ( http://scottishwrestling.co.uk/training) in Linwood.

| Re: Bcw training From the last I heard from camp BCW they had been looking for an East Kilbride trinaing venue, but that was February-ish and most have just stuck to our Linwood facility. Which has been interesting as BCW guys are taught the American way, not the British way, which can be beffudling.
I think Colins best bet would be to operate the way MPW (Coventry) used to, by having mat training sessions every weekend and only using a ring once a month. MPW's roster turned out fine and we are looking into a second ring, which could be rented out if Colin wants it.
We don't have the only ring in Scotland, thogh, so he has more options.

| Re: Bcw training Just a reminder that BCW training is still alive and well but under a new banner called the Scottish Pro Wrestling Academy or SPWA for short. This is a joint training school for two wrestling promotions BCW and PBW.
The classes are run by The Highlander and Kid Fite.
Training is on Sundays 2pm to 6pm and is £7 for the session. They also accept Juniors which is £5 (under 14)
The place is the John Wright Sports Centre in East Kilbride |

| Re: Bcw training For those of you wishing to find the best training facility in Scotland to become a professional wrestler the Scottish Pro Wrestling Academy has been upgraded for about a year now.
They have their own facility now in Unit 2 Dixon Place East Kilbride.
Training is every Sunday from 12 noon to 7pm.
Training costs £10 session
Training is taken by the two head trainers of the Scottish Pro Wrestling Academy
The Highlander with at least 15 years experience
Kid Fite with at least 8 years experience
From time to time there will be guest training taken from the top names in Scottish wrestling such as Wolfgang, Lionheart, Red Lightning and more.
In the past the Scottish Pro Wrestling Academy has had training seminars with the top that the UK has to offer and from abroad. Talent that have hosted the seminars include
Rene Dupree (Former WWE Star)
Matt Cross "MDOGG20" (ROH CZW NWE-ITALY STAR)
Zach Sabre Jr (On of the UK's top cruiserweights and submission specialist)
Irish Tag Team Green White and Awesome (Sean South and Jordan Devlin)
With more seminars in the pipeline being arranged it is quite an exciting time to come join and be part of the Scottish Pro Wrestling Academy. |
