Argh!!!

Well it only took me five minutes to work out how to get back here after signing up! Is there anyway just to register for the qmunity site as oppossed to the whole of alt nation? Or anyway you could maybe put a note up telling folk how to get back here - of course this is when someone points out there is a note and I just didn't see it - but meh... that was frustrating!!!

Further to this shoudln't the general qmu stuff be above the sub forums?

(Go to that link there and press Favourites or Bookmarks on your browser, Ctrl+D should automatically add it there)
Then you can go to it at any time just by going to your Favourites in Internet Explorer or Bookmarks in FireFox

If you go into the qmu forum, have a look near the top right where it says 'forum tools' click 'subscribe to this forum' then all you need do is click 'subscribed forums (near the top left' and you'll ahve a quick link to here.

It's quite funny how many people seem to be offended that qmunity has migrated to better forum software, a better server, more active mods and a larger community in general.

I don't know about you but I hate change and want everything to be back the shit way it was.

Edit: That wasn't a rant against anyone in perticular just a general feeling I've been picking up on.

I can only apologise for the way the transfer happened. The way I saw it happening was:
- THIS forum WOULD be set up
- After about a week we could show how much better than qmunity it was
- After a further week, do the switch

As it turns out, things happened faster than even I planned. This site has the potential to be so much more than the old qmunity was. If any one is truly offended and wants a good ol rant, then feel free to email me at

I'd also like to point out that people were asked - those people were the Board of Management. They agreed that the forum needed to be updated. Qmunity was pretty poorly used.

as someone who used qmunity a fair bit (one of the few other than board members) i think the posting in the past few days alone shows how far superior this forum is. i like it, and the power behind altnation means you can change it to suit your individual needs. if you want to block everything but the qm it's easy to do in your user cp.

but some of the threads in other places are interesting so i'd recommend you don't....
