i was angry and sore in byres road earlier on because my landlord sent me a letter saying 'could you please replace your own lightbulbs' after i'd been told to phone when i needed the kitchen lights replaced because they are too high.
although i did just climb on the worktop and it appears i can reach, although i had to further strain my leg in the process.

luckily my dad was coming through to glasgow and brought me a ladder otherwise i would be cooking in the dark...
the bulbs were £6.50 each. shocking.
