| QM Election Didn't see a thread for the upcoming QM election, so I thought I should start one. Go on, run for stuff, etc.
When's the Heckling Meeting next week? I'm considering running again but I missed the Heckling Meeting last year and wanted to check if I'd be free for this one.

| Re: QM Election No chance mate. One of the highest turnouts I can remember was about 600 (10% of the membership) and that was the general election with 14 people running for 7 ord board spaces and Will whatsisface running for president against Laura Kane and JSD.
The november by-election has no chance whatsoever of attracting that kind of numbers. 300 was me being optimistic. |

| Re: QM Election there was a thread about the election, but it was mostly a discussion over the use of board skills on your cv, heh.
the heckling meeting is next wednesday. if you want to run you need to pick up a nomination pack today and get it back by tomorrow afternoon. |

| Re: QM Election I'm not running - being an FSM while living in another city wouldn't make a whole lot of sense. And anyway, I made it this far without joining, I must be strong! |

I got elected last year as FSM but that was partly for strategic reasons; I think I'm currently more valuable in the booth than the boardroom and I can't do both.
Not sure who to vote for though!

I've resigned. I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. My life is my own. I resign.
But just remember, everybody votes for a dictator. |

Watching through the window late at night was borderline acceptable. Leaving "you need to buy more eggs" pinned to the fridge door? Creepy, but sort of cute. This abuse of the reputation system is a step too far, though.
Hammer's lawyers strongly suggest that you flaunt yourself around the forum a little before showing your face back here. We wouldn't like to disagree. They're rippling with what could be muscle.
