| Re: bad show Mind you, once me an 5 mates got chucked out the QM at the begning of the night (less than one pint in). Never actually got a good explanation why, i can only assume our group was mistaken for the group that had previously been sitting at the table just before we sat down, as they were acting the goat.
Any hoo, we complained and got 15 free entry tickets to Rev.
I still think the lack of communcation from the stewards on that night was piss poor. the QM later appologiesd and said it was to do with the fact they had some irregular staff on because it was a gig night, but thats a load of pish.
but aye, moral of the story is that if they want rid of you, there is feck all you can do on the night, best wait until the next day to complain

| Re: bad show How did they know you had been sick anyway? Cos if it was obvious (i.e. all over you) then you must have expected to get chucked out. |

All the toilets are checked regularly. |

| Re: bad show Yes, that's correct. While we do have regular stewards, it's also sometimes necessary for us to contract extra stewards for any given night (gigs are one example, but happens on other occasions too) and they may not know the venue as well as our regular stewards. This is the same with any venue.
And just by the by, if anyone ever has any formal complaints please take them to the president directly rather than posting them on the forum. |

If only because the vast majority of folk who have had no problems with the QM will generally post in its defence. I dislike the idea that people should be encouraged not to air their grievances with the QM on its own wee forum... Not a very good idea allround... Makes it look as if the QM has something to hide... |

| Re: bad show As I said, if people want to make a formal complaint they should get in contact with the President, and he will make every endeavour to address that complaint and solve any specific problems. I didn't say that to discourage discussion of issues on the forum, but I was reminding people that it is the official way to register dissatisfaction if they want something to be addressed directly. |

| Re: bad show Indeed, however it was worded in such a way that the complaint should be directed to the president as an alternative to being posted on the forum. Which is from what any confusion in my reply stems from. Its actually quite a similar line of reasoning to why I write qmunicate as QMUnicate... |

| Re: bad show sometimes the bouncers at the qmu will plant spew on you and then frame you for it. seriously, dougie carries around a spew pouch and he'll hit you with it and then haul your ass outside.*
