Re: Mornington Crescent

As an opening gambit, that’s just cocky. Your arrogance shall be your undoing.

I’m alighting at Bank, myself. Mind the gap.

Leaving the Gallic Channel open was, indeed, folly. With Tony at Bank, I can set up a harmonic resonance at Monument and leave you in Spoon until the next snowfall.

Re: Mornington Crescent

I just wanted to warn the players of the game....

A month or two ago, myself and another person were indulging ourselves in some friendly MC. There were 7 of us there at the time, but only 2 had a scooby of what was going on.

Fast forward to just after Christmas, one of the voyeurs of said game (confused as hell, but starting to catch on near the end) bought me an amazing gift so that I shall never be rucksacked again.

Folks interested in obtaining their own MC portable cheat-sheet can check it out here:

If we’re allowing Americans in play, then Richtoff’s Balancer must be applied. I’m passing straight through to Holborn.

What...? You mean there are people out there that actually do know what's going on...? I've been stranded at St. Pancras for nearly three years, and the sandwich shop has run out BLT.

Re: Mornington Crescent

following that rediculous start I've found myself with only paris metro tickets leaving me stranded at Heathrow Terminal 4 until the Bureau Du Change opens and I can change some euros.

I find myself at Edgeware road - in the resulting confusion I appear to have sold my Oyster card for some magic beans.

Taking advantage of your inaction I plant my magic beans and ascend the beanstalk which turns out to drop me off at Aldgate East.

I've had a rough night and wake up in Ruislip East, thankfully clutching the requisite Blitherington's Almanac under my sleeping bag.

Should I stay or should I go?

Probably for the best. Don't want a repeat of the Penalty Fare incident that tarnished the 1997 championships, now do we?

Under Heslington’s rules (which I think apply here, since a player is currently inactive) anyone caught helping you to decide would end up in knapsack.

Angel, for me.

Inactive for two rounds?! Just my luck and a quick shiftie down to Oxford Circus due to the seldom used 1981 manere addition...MC in three methinks!
