While on the other side of the world, my plane is delayed for 6 hours because the pilot lost the keys, and thus the balance is restored. Therefore I book a round-the-world cruise ticket which will eventually dock in Dover, in approximately 3 weeks time. Surely you mean Hodgkinson’s fourth law? The third refers only to permissable manouvers during westward-blowing storms. Well, that and clockwise aphorisms, which should go without saying.
