any way of making qmunicate available online again? unless it is already there and i just can't see it...

Qmunicate will be back on the website very soon (along with a major redesign). Among other changes, we're planning to have a qmunicate PDF download to make it easy to read the whole magazine wherever you are.

Also any thoughts or comments on what you currently think of the site, or what you'd like to see in the future would be awesome.

Out of interest, why hasn't qmunicate been on the website since it was changed over to Wordpress.org?

The QM still pays for it's hosting, so it should be easy enough to get the PDFs hosted and it takes five minutes to export the indesign files as a PDF and make a nice jpeg of the front cover. There's also ways round having to host the PDFs on the QMU servers, like creating a Wordpress.Com account and hosting the PDFs on that and calling it something like 'qmunicate archive blog'.

I'm not bitching about the lack of interweb qmunicate, but it's annoying that the QM has a lot of original online articles but not the actual magazine.

I dunno if putting qmunicate up would tempt me back to look at QMU.org.uk the site offends my eyes most times I am there.

I'm not sure why there hasn't been much qmunicate recently (I was only asked to become involved in it a week or two ago, but don't worry, I have plenty experience! ) but Jamie and I are working on it! We'll have an archive of all the qmunicate issues we can get our hands on (or the ones Zoe can find!) so hopefully that'll make up for it, in part at least.

We're also going to make the site easier to manage/maintain/navigate/search, etc with a better and even more consistent structure and layout.

It'll be worth the wait! All your input is very much valued too! Keep it up!
