Well, there is going to be at least 45 minutes of questions from the audience - So it should be a good chance to add another famous politician to your lists of people-you-have-met.

There is a 15 minute speech before hand. I'm not sure exactly what he's speaking on yet - but I'm sure it'll be something interesting.
Tickets for this event are now available at QM reception - Don't worry if you don't manage to get one, you'll probably still get in!
What are people going to ask?

This has reminded me that there is one thing that the GU has over the QM, and that's the political careers of its former presidents (however you've got time to prove me wrong Jamie, Laura, Deustchie et al!).
If I remember correctly (which I might not), former GU presidents have included Donald Dewar and Chuck Kennedy, whereas we only have Wendy Alexander. This will not do.
