| Re: Annual General Election If I may indulge in some shameless self-promotion, after a good few months of rumours, I am now throwing my hat into the ring. I am standing for the position of Honorary Secretary.
You can find some more details on my election blog, Vote Seumas ( RSS), which I'll be updating every day in the run up to the election. Vote Seumas S for Hon Sec on March 1st.

We don't want wimps in these positions who are too afraid to address critical issues.
Prove you've got the toughness required of you by saying one thing about each of your competitors that shows why they shouldn't be elected.

| Re: Annual General Election I'm running for Ord Board again - March - March. My manifesto is below... Quote:
Hey everyone, my name is Peter Johnston, and I am a heavily involved committee member and general dogsbody at your union.
The last time I unsuccessfully ran for the QM board, I made a statement that no matter the outcome, I would continue to lend a hand in any way I could, so for the past four months I have been regularly attending both Entertainments and Social committees, assisting with setup of clubnights and special events every week, and have helped run several quizzes.
I have recently produced one half of the new QMU website, constructed the Rev Myspace, and created screen graphics for major QM events including the Burns Night Ceilidh and Valentine’s Rev.
Voting for me on March 1st would be bringing my expertise in IT and experience in helping from a member’s point of view to the board of management. The effort and dedication I have put into the QM in recent months will not stop, therefore I feel I am an excellent choice to help run your union.

| make sure he knows to move an ad or something so the presidential manifestos are contained within a spread rather than going over a page turn!
