Does the QMU (Rev in particular) shut at 2am or 3am? I can't remember.

Rev ends at about ten past 2.

We've got a 3am licence on Fridays and Saturdays, though.

Asking a question for a friend who only has this as ID, does a Young Scots card count as ID for Rev?

Probably not to be honest, it's not usually recognised as official ID.

As far as I recall a passport, driving licence, Portman Group Prove-It, or a student card are the only IDs accepted.

Whats the deal with freshers next year glasgow students only?

Again, i'm assuming lack of a cali union = lack of boozed up freshers type events.

Tremendous, it never made any sense to me that we could do that for gigs but not for rev.

Last year it was restricted to freshers at glasgow uni - so even glasgow uni 2nd years couldn't get in, let alone students of other institutions.

This seems me to be insanity I have to say - yes we should guarantee that freshers who have paid for passes should get in, but beyond that, turning other people away who want to pay to get in, and having a building under capacity as a result, costs us money we can ill-afford to lose.

But the answer to your question is it's unlikely you'll be able to get in.
