| Revolution - Signing In?
Over summer there wasn't a need to be signed in if you weren't a student/QM Member.
Apparently "this isn't entirely true any more", anybody got any clarification on that to stop folks maybe having wasted journeys and being turned away this Tuesday? |

Over the summer we issued Revolution temporary membership cards which expire at the end of December. As of Freshers' Week we will not be issuing out these cards any more. If any of you have collected a card over summer then that will allow you access (as always, though, management reserve rights) without needing to be signed in until the expiry date on the card. However, if you don't have a card, you will need to be a student or you'll need to be signed in.
The plan is for us to allow people to renew their cards when they're close to expiry. More info on that at the end of the year.
For the next 4 weeks we will allow Glasgow University students who are not members of either the QMU or the GUU into the building. After that, however, you will need to join one of the two unions for access to either union.
Does that make sense?
