from 9 til i was 16 I looked after my pony Alvin, he was the best horse ever, he had the brightest blue eyes and mad sticky up hair and would jump anything from standstill. He was probably my only mate when I was growing up, horses make good friends because they are better than girls and flinging your 10 year old body over 5ft jumps was the funniest thing ever.

I started back horse riding a month ago after 4 years away from it. I was up tonight and the old stable manager had bought a horse identitcal to my old one. i was on it tonight, it was so similar it was scary.

he looks so dirty and manky in these pics, he used to always dirty himself up whenver I had somewhere important to go.

This is my dog Kandi when she was a wee puppy, she died last year, she was nearly 12.

My wee baby Treacle, and the rats we had, Sparky (grey and white) and Twitchy (black and white), they died a few months ago though.

Same here, I got chased about mile through a field by a foal and broke my leg, amazingly (considering the big chicken shit I am) it didn't put me off!

That was him when we just got him at 7 weeks old.

He's now 11 months old and much bigger.

I know, they're gorgeous animals

and they make great pets. I hate it when someone says they have/had pet rats and people go "ewww, rats are horrible" or whatever.
