"Aye its rough up here Danny, you've got to realise in the early 90's there was a sudden rush of new stores opening all over the city, all of them home to proper naughty boys up for anything. I had to bring the CRSC into the 90's to keep our place as top boys in Glasgow. I mean things have changed, when I first got into this we wore proper shirts and ties with a sailor style hat, then all of a sudden these toff stores like Milngavie opened up and with that they brought in all this new clobber. We used to stand out a mile and the OB would be onto us straight away when we were in shirts and ties but we noticed that the Milngavie boys would get away with anything. They had polo shirts and caps, I would say it was right around the opening of Milngavie that all the employees in Glasgow became casuals"
"So what, Milngavie came on the scene, proper naughty and that and kicked it all off?"
"Nah they didnt kick anything off, but what you have to realise is that they had been on holidday with their parents, all over Europe and they were coming back with all these polo shirts and caps, I'll admit it they looked smarter than us with their pricey gear and we got jealous, thats when we started going down to London to get our own polo shirts and caps. In 1996 I bought my first pair of Hush Puppies."

"What about goin inside, its gotta hurt doin bird though yeah?"
"Listen Danny this is like a drug, I cant just stop it. The buzz when we roll up to another McD's is unbelievable, if I have to do another stretch I will, you'll never make me stop."
"So have the OB got this all under control these days or what?"
"Oh yeah don't get me wrong the days of a couple hundred crow road just walking into argyle street 2 are long gone, we have to be cleverer than that, we have to arrange meets around the store, not in it. Just last week a group of about 20 Crow Road Service Crew met East Kilbride Drive Thru round the back of the corral, it kicked off big time. They were out there with their filter poles and spatulas, proper tooled up like. We were goin at it for about 20 minutes before the area manager turned up on horseback and ray kroc showed in full riot gear"
"Spot on, spot on, well that was Crow Road, one of the hardest firms in Glasgow considered by many to be the top dog. but has this dog has its day? next we had north west to Milngavie, the store who brought in a new age of firm, the McDonalds casual. I'm gonna try and meet some of their top boys to see what they've got to say about themselves. I'm not gonna lie I'm a little intimidated, lets just hope they liked my film"
